We provide feasibility studies for any transmission connection, new build or existing asset management related upgrade. We carry out preliminary design on civil, structural and electrical aspects for the specific transmission project covering LV distribution or HV transmission. We produce preliminary drawings including preliminary calculations for electrical hardware and balance of plant to provide a one-stop-shop solution for our Clients in their onward feasibility submission to their End-Clients.

We have practical experience on footing designs for overhead line structures. We use the latest technology and software to ensure foundation designs are cost-effective for our Clients with options such as bored socket, deep piles, multiple pile and classic pad and chimney designs. We also carry out embedment calculations for distribution poles and LV poles in line with Australian Standards.

We offer comprehensive asset management advice based on your transmission assets in line with your operating and maintenance. We can also prepare an O&M strategy paper for your assets should this be required for all components including electrical and mechanical items in a given distribution line or transmission line including dynamic line rating.

We can carry out steel/ concrete structural design of transmission structures. We also produce assembly drawings using TEKLA and AutoCAD. We have experienced drafters who have worked in fabrication facilities in tower and steel manufacturing which minimize risk of errors during fabrication and repeat prototype assembly. We can also produce hardware assembly drawings showing electrical clearances and work safety clearances for transmission line towers and poles.
